A leading Cobham independent school has a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN Adult or RN Child) to join their pastoral care team as a School Nurse.

As a School Nurse, you will support health care and promotion for all pupils, staff, and visitors. Under the direction of the Group Lead Nurse and alongside a committed team, you’ll provide nursing care to the school community with the aid of cutting-edge resources, provide a safe space for mental and emotional wellbeing, and assist with initiatives that foster health and safety awareness across this beautiful countryside campus.

This is permanent, part-time role for a School Nurse (4 days per week, Tues-Fri), term-time only (42 weeks per year).

Previous school nurse experience would be a distinct advantage but is not essential – if you have some experience in caring for children and are approachable, kind, and passionate about children’s health and welfare, this could be the perfect role for you.


Person specification:

  • (Essential) NMC registration as a General Nurse (RN Adult) or Children’s Nurse (RN Child)
  • (Essential) Minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience
  • (Desirable) Previous paediatric nursing experience
  • (Desirable) Previous professional experience as a School Nurse, Practice Nurse, or Health Visitor
