A leading Abertillery independent pharmacy is now looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join and lead the team as their Pharmacist Manager.
The pharmacy is in a fantastic location to serve the community – right by local amenities, public transport links, primary care services, and parking spots. The team supports a wide patient base with a diverse range of pharmacy needs, providing accessible services both privately and in conjunction with NHS Wales in a modern and spacious environment.
As Pharmacist Manager, you’ll be leading a full team of qualified pharmacy support staff to provide patients with their new and repeat prescriptions and emergency medicines, advise patients on their medication and on minor health concerns, and provide additional services such as flu vaccines and healthy lifestyle support in line with community needs.
The team has a great reputation locally for their highly considerate and informative approach and all together, they are the first choice for many for their pharmacy care.
This is a permanent, full-time (40h) Pharmacist Manager position covering Mon-Fri, c. 9-6, plus Saturday mornings.
Person specification:
- (Essential) MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification or equivalent
- (Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
- (Desirable) Previous experience handling pharmacy management responsibilities
- (Desirable) Independent Prescriber status
