An independent pharmacy in Scotland’s beautiful Argyll region is now looking for a Pharmacist to join the team.
Lying on the banks of two Highland waterways, Lochgilphead was established as a major confluence town for connections to Oban, Inveraray, Campbeltown and the Crinan Canal and remains a key urban centre for the region.
The town is the ideal base for exploring the best of western Scotland’s nature trails, archaeological sites and outdoor sports yet offers its own historic charm, including its selection of traditional eateries, craftspeople, and shops – of which the pharmacy is just one.
The pharmacy itself is a mainstay of the community, with a central location and strong ties to local healthcare services, and the team has a long-time reputation for outstanding professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help. As a Pharmacist, you will be able to build strong relationships with the locals and fellow healthcare professionals with an experienced and supportive team behind you, providing a broad range of pharmacy services for diverse and evolving needs – including advisory and emergency medication support, vaccinations, blood pressure monitoring, addiction support, and more.
Should you be considering relocating to the area for this role, the group would be happy to discuss how they can support your move with regards to local accommodation.
This is a permanent Pharmacist role.
Full-time (5 days per week) would be preferred but part-time may also be considered.
Person specification:
- (Essential) GPhC-accredited MPharm degree (or equivalent).
- (Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist.
Benefits/enhancements include:
- Accommodation available for relocation
- Plenty of parking locally
- Excellent training & development, including IP course support
