A top-level provider of mental health and addiction therapies now has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Registered Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RMN / RNLD) to join the team at their hospital in Cheadle, on the outskirts of Stockport and Manchester.

Rated “Good” by the CQC, the hospital offers a range of comprehensive inpatient services for young people and adults experiencing challenging and complex mental health issues. The areas in which you can specialise include:

  • Acute mental health
  • PICU
  • Rehab and recovery
  • Eating disorders
  • Personality disorders
  • CAMHS

As a Staff Nurse with your specialist team, you will assess, plan, and deliver recovery-focused therapies that involve your patients, respect their needs, and ensure their safety at every stage. You will give each patient the support they need to make real and lasting improvements in their mental health, ready to reintegrate back into the community and take on new opportunities.

Newly qualified and looking for a comprehensive preceptorship? An extensive programme is now available for Preceptorship Nurses; you will start at a salary of £28,500 per year before moving up the salary structure upon completion.

This is a permanent position for a Mental Health Staff Nurse; full-time, part-time and bank hours are available, with a days and/or nights working pattern.

 

Person specification:

You must be registered with the NMC as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD).
