One of the UK’s Top 20 Care Home Groups in 2022 is now looking for a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join their luxury home not far from Royston, which provides bespoke residential and round-the-clock dementia care to residents and visitors staying for a short break.
The team at the home – rated “Good” in all areas by the CQC – works hard to foster a strong sense of community, where residents can retain as much independence and choice as possible in a sociable and comfortable environment. With landscaped gardens, first-class cuisine, and a wealth of activities – regular day trips, vegetable plots, arts and crafts, an array of interesting visitors (including therapy ponies), and more – to enjoy, residents are encouraged to preserve their life skills by maintaining relationships and engaging in new hobbies and interests.
As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with the home, you will support the residents to live well and keep active in a safe and caring place. If you would prefer to see a variety of local homes, you can join as a Regional Healthcare Assistant and provide support and companionship across the area (with an appropriate pay bump too).
This is a permanent, full-time HCA role with Days or Nights available. Need more flexibility with your work hours? Bank roles for experienced HCAs are also available.
Person specification:
Previous experience in elderly care is preferred but not required.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
