A fully “Good”-rated hospital for independent elective healthcare is now looking for an experienced Healthcare Professional to join the team as a Clinical Quality and Risk Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

With a comprehensive imaging centre (including a JAG-accredited endoscopy suite), 3 operating theatres, and an upgraded physiotherapy facility on-site, the hospital provides a broad range of medical, surgical, and allied health interventions to residents of East London, Essex and further afield – from women’s health and dermatology clinics, to specialist renal and gastroenterology care, to advanced neuro and orthopaedic procedures (and corresponding post-op rehabilitation).

As Clinical Quality and Risk Manager, you will combine your clinical proficiency – from a background in nursing, allied health, medicine, or other hands-on discipline – and expert knowledge of regulatory compliance processes to coordinate and evaluate clinical governance strategies across the hospital.

Through a proactive approach to operational problem-solving and the championing of enhanced clinical safety policies, you will take the lead in ensuring each clinical area meets and surpasses regulatory requirements – assuring care quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement at every turn.

This is a fixed-term position for a Clinical Quality and Risk Manager (6 months), covering full-time hours (37.5h).

Person specification:

  • (Essential) Qualification within a relevant clinical healthcare discipline (nursing, allied health, medicine, etc.)
  • (Essential) Registration with the relevant regulatory body for your discipline (NMC, HCPC, GMC, etc.)
  • (Essential) At least 3 years’ post-registration experience practising in a healthcare setting
  • (Essential) Previous experience in clinical governance / risk management
  • (Essential) Previous experience conducting complex investigations and implementing evidence-based change

  • Modern environment with evident and ongoing investment
  • Private healthcare scheme, covering pre-existing conditions
  • Friends & Family hospital discounts
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata
  • Non-contributory life assurance
  • Access to substantial retail and leisure discounts, including the Blue Light Card
  • Employee Assistance Programme for wellbeing support
  • Employee referral and recognition schemes
  • Private pension scheme
  • And more!
