Help a local social care provider deliver the highest level of support and comfort

This well-established independent care provider is now looking for a Care Assistant or Care Practitioner to join the service and help deliver outstanding nursing care to the people of Fife.

As a Care Assistant or Care Practitioner in one of the service’s dedicated and purpose-built homes (including in Glenrothes, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, or Methil, depending on your preference), you will assist the delivery of care that meets the needs of each resident within a warm, homely environment that encourages independence and social involvement.

Experience will be an advantage but is not essential - if you have passion and enthusiasm, you could be just the person we’re looking for.

The service provides excellent accommodation and health support to older adults and those with learning disabilities within their spacious and purpose-built homes. With an emphasis on maintaining a social lifestyle, residents and their loved ones are encouraged to take advantage of the extensive living and communal spaces, to participate in daily activities, and to get involved in excursions to the many activity centres and community projects throughout the region.

Recognising that a prepared team is the key to success, you will be offered every opportunity to further your personal and career development, including internal and external training programmes to gain SVQs in Health & Social Care at Level 2, 3, and 4, as well as managerial qualifications.

*Salary is dependent on experience and shift pattern (contracted unsocial hours).

Person specification:

Previous experience or any SVQ in Health & Social Care is preferable but not essential.
