Having started his working career within Financial Markets, perhaps at the wrong end of a global market collapse, Paul found his calling within recruitment in 1991. Starting within generalist recruitment, Paul advanced through senior management roles and developed new markets in advanced level recruitment within Corporate Retail, Healthcare and Catering sectors.
With the impending birth of his second child, he took the somewhat brave decision, alongside long-time colleague Sean, to branch out and create a completely unique niche sector recruitment company, Sterling Cross.
“Over a number of years, I realised a passion for specialist search and select, particularly within Pharmacy and Nursing sectors. I always felt that my tenacious obsession and ability to hunt out that elusive candidate would play an essential part in our business’s success. It’s a fantastic feeling that can only aligned to a detective finding a missing person!”
